ITINERARY:
Day-1 Mangaluru Arrival- Murudeshwar Arrive at Mangaluru. Travel to Murudeshwar (155 kms/ 3 hrs). Visit Murudehwar beach & Shiva temple. Visit huge Shiva statue on the beach. O/n at hotel in Murudeshwar.
Day-2 Murudeshwar- Kollur- Udupi Travel to Udupi (105 kms/ 2 hrs). Enroute take a detour (25 kms) for Mookambika temple at Kollur. Mookanbika temple is viisted by families with kids before they start schooling (caled vidya arambh). Later, transfer to Udupi. Visit Shri Krishna temple, Mahakali temple, Saibaba temple, Venkatramana temple & many other temples. O/n at hotel in Udupi.
Day-3 Udupi- Sringeri Mutt & Annapoorneshwari temple (Horanadu)- Mangalore Excursion to Shri Sharadambha temple, Shringeri (90 kms/ 3 hrs). This 8th century temple is founded by Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Then, proceed to visit Annapoorneshwari temple (45 kms). Later, return to Mangaluru (125 kms/ 3 hrs). O/n at hotel in Mangaluru
Day-4 Departure Time permitting, visit Panambur beach, St. Alosyus chapel, Bejai museum. Depart to Mangaluru airport/ railway station. Tour ends
