ITINERARY:
Day-1 Mangaluru Arrival- Shravanbelgola- Hassan Arrive at Mangaluru. Travel to Shravanbelgola (240 kms/ 5 hrs) to visit Gommateshwara Bahubali Statue & is one of the most important Jain Pilgrimage. Later, transfer to Hassan (50kms/ 1hr). O/n at hotel in Hassan
Day-2 Hassan- Halebidu-Belur-Chikmagalur Travel to Halebidu (32 kms) to visit famous 12th century Hoysaleshwara temple. Lord Shiva is presiding deity. Then, proceed to Belur (16kms) to visit famous Chennakesava temple. Lord Vishnu is the deity. Transfer to Chikmagalur(30 kms) a renowned nature centric destination having coffee plantations around. O/n at hotel in Chikmagalur.
Day-3 Chikmagalur Full day at leisure to enjoy trekking & visit coffee plantations. Visit Mullayangiri (highest peak in Karnataka). O/n at hotel in Chikmagalur.
Day-4 Chikmagalur- Gokarna Travel to Gokarna (310 kms/ 7 hrs). Evening at leisure on beach. O/n at hotel in Gokarna
Day-5 Gokarna Visit OM beach, Paradise beach, Half Moon Beach, Mahabaleshwar temple. Enjoy water sports. O/n at hotel in Gokarna
Day-6 Gokarna- Murudeshwar- Kollur -Udupi Travel to Murudeshwar (80 kms/ 1.5 hrs). Visit Murudehwar beach & Shiva temple. Visit huge Shiva statue on the beach. Later, Travel to Udupi (105 kms/ 2 hrs). Enroute take a detour (25 kms) for Mookambika temple at Kollur. Mookanbika temple is visited by families with kids before they start schooling (caled vidya arambh). Later, transfer to Udupi. Visit Shri Krishna temple, Mahakali temple, Saibaba temple, Venkatramana temple & many other temples. O/n at hotel in Udupi.
Day-7 Udupi- Sringeri Mutt & Annapoorneshwari temple (Horanadu) Excursion to Shri Sharadambha temple, Shringeri (90 kms/ 3 hrs). This 8th century temple is founded by Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Then, proceed to visit Annapoorneshwari temple (45 kms). Later, return to Udupi. Evening, enjoy ur time at idyllic beaches such as Malpe. O/n at Udupi
Day-8 Departure to Mangaluru Depart to Mangaluru (130 kms/ 3 hrs) airport/ railway station. Tour ends
